Business Leaders Enjoy an Evening at Ruby Amphitheater

The Morgantown Area Partnership

In August, we had the pleasure of hosting our Business After Hours at the Ruby Amphitheater—one of downtown Morgantown’s most well-known venues. With the Mon River as our backdrop and the summer concert series adding to the atmosphere, the amphitheater offered an energetic space for an evening of networking and collaboration.

Our members and guests came together to make new connections, strengthen relationships, and exchange ideas that support the business community across our region. For us, these gatherings are always a reminder of the vital role small businesses play in driving economic growth and the importance of nurturing a strong, supportive professional network.

This event was made possible thanks to our sponsor, Breezeline, and featured a fantastic menu provided by Mama K’s Kitchen. The combination of local food, live entertainment, and the amphitheater’s riverfront setting made for a warm and welcoming atmosphere where professionals from many different industries could come together.

At the Partnership, we see Business After Hours as more than just networking events—they’re opportunities to spark new collaborations, share ideas, and build relationships that strengthen Greater Morgantown. By hosting these gatherings in central community spaces, we’re highlighting the connection between business growth, local culture, and the quality of life that makes Morgantown such a unique place to live and work.

The August event reinforced what sets the region apart: a strong, interconnected network of businesses working collectively to move the community forward. We would love for you to join us for our future Business After Hours events to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the momentum shaping Greater Morgantown.

Our next Business After Hours is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, at 5:30 PM. We’ll be gathering at Steptoe & Johnson, located at 1000 Swiss Pine Way, Suite 200. We look forward to connecting with you there!
