Four decades of bold ideas and strong relationships: BlaineTurner earns Chairman’s Award

The Morgantown Area Partnership

This year, the Morgantown Area Partnership is proud to recognize BlaineTurner Advertising, Inc. with the 2025 Chairman’s Award—an honor reserved for organizations that have made a lasting impact on both the business community and the region as a whole.

For more than 40 years, BlaineTurner has done just that.

Founded in the early 1980s by Ginna Royce, the agency was built on a simple philosophy: never say no. If a client needed a radio spot, they wrote it. If someone asked for TV production, they figured it out. Over the decades, they evolved into a full-service agency known for strategic thinking, bold creativity, and deeply personal relationships.

“We’ve been in coal mines, operating rooms, drilling sites— even Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas,” Delbert Royce, co-founder of BlaineTurner Advertising, said. “It’s been 35+ years of expanding adventure.”

Today, BlaineTurner specializes in healthcare, manufacturing, and tourism—but their work goes far beyond these industries. Their clients speak of a team that never stops growing, never stops challenging, and always delivers with heart.

“They really make us better,” Susan Riddle, president and CEO of Visit Mountaineer Country CVB, said. “They manage our website, our campaigns, our PR—they challenge us every day, and we challenge them right back.”

At the core of it all is a culture rooted in relationships. Clients become close collaborators. Colleagues become friends. And for every new technology or platform, the team brings a consistency of care that feels rare in the fast-paced world of marketing.

“The company was built on relationships, period,” Ginna Royce said. “And over time, clients turned into very, very dear friends.”

BlaineTurner has also become a place where employees grow into leaders. The agency’s legacy includes mentoring young creatives, investing in its team, and offering a workplace where people can build not just careers—but lives.

Receiving the Chairman’s Award is a reflection of the trust they’ve built with clients, collaborators, and the community they’ve called home from the start.

“We’ve been blessed with great clients and talented employees who’ve allowed us to keep doing what we love,” Delbert Royce said. “It’s an honor to be recognized by the very community that shaped us.”
