BMX competition can bring more than riders to Mylan Park. Visiting families and spectators could also mean overnight stays, restaurant visits and customers for local shops.
The Mountaineer Bike Yard plans to open to the public by June 1, 2027, with a competition BMX track, a hard-surface pump track and a skills loop stretching more than a mile. Three USA BMX national events committed over five years add to its potential to attract visitors. For residents, the facility will offer new opportunities to ride, practice and compete close to home.
