Celebrating local success: The Annual Dinner returns April 24

The Morgantown Area Partnership

Morgantown’s biggest business celebration of the year is back. On Thursday, April 24, the Morgantown Area Partnership will host its Annual Dinner at the Waterfront Marriott—a night dedicated to honoring award winners, spotlighting local success stories, and connecting hundreds of professionals from across the region.

With 600 to 900 guests expected, the Annual Dinner brings together sponsors, nominees, colleagues, and supporters from across the area. Whether you’re cheering on a friend or celebrating your own achievements, the event is about more than recognition—it’s about community.

“I love the videos. I love to see the winners,” said David Goldberg, Morgantown Area Partnership Board Chair and President and CEO of Mon Health System. “I love to hear all the great stories about how the businesses are making North Central West Virginia thrive.”

The evening also offers a rare chance to connect outside the usual workday. From casual conversations to new partnerships, the Annual Dinner provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate.

“We may compete as businesses in the community,” Goldberg said, “but we all want a thriving Monongalia County and Morgantown.”

So come for the meal, stay for the energy, and leave with a renewed sense of pride in the region we’re building together.

The 2025 Annual Dinner will take place Thursday, April 24 at the Marriott at Waterfront Place.
