Monongalia and Preston County Day at the Legislature on Thursday, February 3, 2022

Monongalia and Preston County Day at the Legislature in conjunction with Preston County is an annual opportunity for county residents to meet with our state legislators, department secretaries, and other department heads on Thursday, February 3, 2022. As part of Monongalia and Preston County Day at the Legislature, the Morgantown Area Partnership is sponsoring a bus to Charleston.

“Monongalia Preston Day is a great way for the people who live and work in these counties to come together as a united front to present current issues while sharing our accomplishments and goals with our legislators,” said Anna Carrier, VP of Chamber Services at the Morgantown Area Partnership.

Pre-registration is required for this free event in order to properly provide transportation and meals. To pre-register, go online as soon as possible to www.morgantownpartnership.com/day-at-legislature. Online registration will end on Wednesday, February 2nd at 3pm. Space is available for display tables at the Capitol. Eighteen display opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The bus will depart from the Mountain Line bus depot at 6am and arrive at the Capitol at 8am. A buckwheat cake breakfast will be provided.
